Annual Mental Health Summit coming soon – August 30
Veterans are invited to the Annual Mental Health Summit to be held on August 30 from 8 am to 3:30 pm. The Summit will include presentations, breakout groups, along with informational and vendor tables. The Summit will be held at the Veterans Memorial Association, 1626 Willamette Street in Eugene.
The agenda will include messages from leadership, information about the Mission Act, and a presentation panel from the Veterans Mental Health Consumer Council. Breakout sessions will focus on topics including Whole Health, Aging Veterans, Supporting Caregivers, Women Veterans, and Mental Health for Veterans.
The VA Mental Health Summit is a gathering of local Veterans Health Administration leadership and providers, community agencies that serve Veterans, non-profits, Veterans Service Organizations, Veteran and community advocacy groups, as well as Veterans and their family members. The purpose is to provide education, collaboration, and networking across the mental health delivery system and the community at large.
