Firewood for Vets: Keeping Our Veterans Warm
We are excited to share an update on Firewood for Vets program, which has been making a significant impact in the lives of our veterans and their families. What is Firewood for Vets? Firewood for Vets is a heartwarming initiative dedicated to providing free firewood to veterans and the widows of veterans. The program began in November 2020 with Glenn from Perry’s Supply, who generously donated trees from his property to help those in need. SOVO helps ensure that veterans receive the benefits they are due for their service to our country. Coos County, Oregon has approximately 6000 veterans and one County Veterans Service Officer and one Claims assistant.
