Services
At Southwestern Oregon Veterans Outreach (SOVO), we stand beside veterans as they navigate life’s challenges, connecting them with the resources they’ve earned through their service. We’re proud to offer guidance, referrals, and practical support to help bridge the gap between what’s available and what’s truly needed.
That said, we’d like to gently clarify:
SOVO is not a direct liaison to businesses, government agencies, or employers. While we walk with veterans as they advocate for themselves, we do not speak on their behalf in legal, employment, or organizational matters.
Instead, we:
Help retrieve vital documents like DD-214s, military medical records, and state IDs
Offer referrals for housing, legal aid, counseling, and other local services
Provide limited practical support—transportation vouchers, emergency fuel, and guidance for next steps
Our heart is to empower veterans to speak for themselves, with confidence, support, and clarity.
